How it started
The EDEN Foundation began in July 2022, rooted in a simple yet powerful desire to help during the Ukrainian crisis. It all started with a personal commitment: the 4x4x48 running challenge. This grueling endeavor, involving running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours, raised about $2000, a seed that would grow into something much larger.
Determined to ensure that this money made a real difference, we bypassed traditional large charities to avoid high overhead costs. Instead, connections made while volunteering at a local refugee center opened doors to small, grassroots organizations in Ukraine. This direct approach allowed every dollar to have a greater impact.
As our engagement deepened, the critical challenge of logistics became clear. Navigating the complexities of delivering supplies to Ukraine required a strategic approach. We tapped into networks in the shipping and healthcare sectors to start shipping vehicles and medical equipment, addressing a crucial need.
The EDEN Foundation was born from a commitment to impactful aid, transforming direct action into meaningful support during the Ukrainian crisis. Our journey is defined by practical solutions, strong relationships, and a belief in the efficacy of targeted aid.
Where we are today
The EDEN Foundation continues to play a crucial role in providing vehicles for emergency medical evacuations in Ukraine, thanks to our strategic partnerships with shipping companies, car dealerships, and hospitals. These collaborations allow us to deliver urgently needed supplies directly to the frontlines.
We now operate out of major shipping ports in Houston, Miami, Savannah, and New Jersey, enabling us to extend our reach and ship supplies to Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine. Our direct communication with the Ukrainian government ensures that our resources are always directed where they are most needed.
Our extensive network across the US, Poland, and Ukraine is instrumental in our efforts, allowing us to distribute supplies reliably, even in high-risk areas. This trusted network also helps protect us from potential corruption, ensuring that every donation directly benefits those in need.
